THE PILATES METHOD

The Pilates method was developed in the 1920's by the legendary trainer and
founder Joseph H Pilates. Mr. Pilates designed more than 500 specific exercises
using unique pieces of equipment to develop the body uniformly. The Pilates
system is designed to work the body as a whole, co-coordinating the upper
and lower muscles of the body using spring resistance
